Boomerang is a field of orbits — warm spirals of rust, ochre and ember, each one turning around its own center, going and going but never getting anywhere new. Throw it as far as you want; it always curves back to your hand. This is the shape of certain patterns: the arguments we repeat, the choices we swear we won't make again, the places we run from and return to without noticing.

This piece is about the strange comfort and quiet ache of circling. Motion that feels like progress but ends where it began. There's beauty in it — the spirals are warm, alive, almost hypnotic — but also a question: how many times will you come back before you throw differently?
